1st milestone:
As most of you know, my child despises a bottle. It has been a struggle to get her to take enough formula every day ever since I stopped nursing. She is 10 months old and WILL NOT hold it herself for more than a couple of seconds. Recently she has really enjoyed using a sippy cup, last night I wondered what would happen if we threw out the bottle and just switched to the cup. SUCCESS!!! she went all day long today, HOLDING her cup and taking plenty of formula, water, and juice!! What a relief! Bottle = trash.
2nd Milestone:
SHE WALKED!! Well she tried anyways... she cruised along the entire TV stand, stood at the end, LET GO, and took 2 wobbly steps to me! Ahh what bliss! She thought it was hilarious and continued to "take off" for most of the day. She gets a little excited after the 1st step and falls forward, but we are inching our way toward mobility! Give her a week!
Oh and HAPPY SUMMER!!
