A LIGHT at the end of what seems like an endless tunnel!

Okie dokie, here's the scoop.

My official due date is July 31st ( Friday) BUT my OB extended the due date by 9 (yes nine) days about 3 months ago because our little ladie was small. ok.... THEN she leveled out in growth so we were given a due week (facinating right?) Between July 31st and Aug 9th. It really peaved me to think we would have to wait LONGER.

SOOOO after my appointment on wednesday my bloodpressure was a smidge high, so unless Grace decides to come on her own this weekend, we are being induced on TUESDAY AUG 4th! whew... I didn't think I wanted to be induced, but after it was scheduled I feel really relieved. We got the last bit of baby stuff sterilized and put together, We are going to go grocery shopping tonight, and do a little bit of cleaning.

We are praying for a smooth delivery and healthy baby girl :)

waiting, waiting, and more waiting...

Our due date is JULY 31st... today is July 28th.... I feel like a little kid waiting to open christmas presents. Last Wednesday's OB appointment concluded that I was about 2 cm dialated and 50% effaced.. my Dr. said everything looked great, my blood pressure was perfect, no weight gain this week, no swelling, baby's heartrate was great.. nothing wrong (TEXTBOOK). Which also means, no induction. I think the policy at my OB office is to let you go up to 2 weeks past the due date with no problems. I PRAY we don't go too late. I am not sleeping at all anymore, most of the time I'm falling asleep as Mike is getting up for work... We are walking around our neighborhood everynight for close to an hour, bags are packed, and we are ready to roll. We just have to wait for our little diva to decide to make her debue! I go back to see my OB tomorrow morning.. updates to come.

BABY COUNTDOWN! and MOVING

I had my weekly OB check this Tuesday, Grace looks great, she's down really low (no dilation yet, thank GOD!) and still measuring right on track. It still looks like we are having a petite little girl as she is in the mid 40% for growth, honestly I'm glad not to have to worry about delivering a large baby (Mike was close to 9 lbs). SHE IS SO ACTIVE I'm pretty sure she's fractured a rib of mine, and Mike seems to think that she is hula hooping at night! ha.

WE CLOSED TODAY! We are officially homeowners, we are going to start moving things tonight and continue through the weekend, Pray that Mike doesn't get heatstroke, as you know I'm not going to be much help. Though, I will be putting Grace's room together FINALLY! pictures to come soon!
